FROM FARM TO BAR, RESTAURANT CUVÉE GIVES A NEW TWIST TO CLASSIC COCKTAILS
NAPA, Calif. – Restaurant Cuvée – a downtown Napa locale adjacent to the River Terrace Inn – has unveiled their new drink menu, playfully named, “Potions.” A local infusion into fabulously fun drinks, such as the Bloodhound, Sazeracattack and the Gala Apple Crush, the menu features fresh fruits and vegetables from local farms and herbs straight out of the garden on property, mixed with locally distilled spirits.
Potions such as the Mayacamus Cooler (named after the mountains surrounding Napa Valley) are made with tequila from Charbay, a Northern California distillery located up the Napa Valley Wine Trail, and cucumbers and jalapeños from Cuvée’s garden. The Honey Runner is also made with Charbay Tahitian vanilla rum as well as locally sourced honey from Marshall’s Honey Farm mixed with the juice of California apricots. The Peachco Sour, the poster child of the farm to bar concept, is made with fresh spearmint grown on property and local peaches muddled in the bottom of a glass to create a creamy, refreshing afternoon delight. A secret not yet published on the menu, but already a local favorite, is the Harvey Bay Banger, made with mandarins from K&J Orchards and other ingredients only the bartender knows.
Restaurant Cuvée is located only blocks from the historical Oxbow Market, adjacent to River Terrace Inn. Surrounded by cool breezes and flickering fires, it is the quintessential place to enjoy fine cuisine in a casual setting. Crackling wood burning fires bring a living room ambiance to the serious food and beverage at Cuvée. Cuvée’s menus are solely dictated by regional availability and ripeness and focuses on community product selection. The restaurant artistically offers comfort food flavors reengineered to a level of “high cuisine” with a kicked back distinctive wine country personality.
Set in the heart of the Napa Valley Wine Country, River Terrace Inn is an enchanting blend of modern elegance, laid-back California charm, and the energy of the recently revitalized downtown Napa, California. This pristine riverfront setting is only steps away from the starting point of the famous Wine Train, Oxbow Public Market and eclectic downtown art galleries. By day, visitors explore wine country’s radiant vineyards, charming tasting rooms and fresh produce farms all set among lush, rolling hills. By night, a foodie explosion comes alive in downtown Napa, particularly at Restaurant Cuvée adjacent to River Terrace Inn, featuring high country cuisine fused with a cool casual setting.
