Napa Valley Wine Train
The Napa Valley Wine Train provides a relaxing three-hour, thirty-six mile round-trip journey from the historic town of Napa, through one of the world's most well-known wine valleys to the quaint village of St. Helena, and back. Guests aboard the Wine Train enjoy a freshly prepared lunch or dinner inside a fully restored 1915-1917 Pullman Dining Car or 1952 Vista Dome car as they pass the vineyards and wineries of Napa Valley.

Arts - Di Rosa Preserve
Located on 217 beautiful acres, di Rosa Preserve is a natural oasis featuring one of the largest and most significant Bay Area art collections in the world. Encompassing beautiful vineyards, olive trees, a 35 acre lake, and a natural wildlife preserve, di Rosa Preserve features over 2,000 works of art by more than 800 artists displayed in harmony with nature - in magnificent outdoor arenas, a 130-year old winery-turned-residence, an ancient olive grove and on the lake.
Arts - Jarvis Conservatory
Opened in 1995, Jarvis Conservatory provides training and workshops for artists. A magnificent theater and an acoustic marvel with 220 seats, the Conservatory is dedicated to teaching and performing serious art forms, including dance, film, music and puppetry. Workshops in Zarzuela, Opera and French Baroque Dances are continuously part of the programs offered.

Oxbow Park Preserve
What is that natural setting behind the hotel? We a fortunate to have a front row seat to one of the bay areas nature preserves. The Oxbow Park Preserve is situated across the Napa River from the hotel and offers our guests a serene back drop to their Napa Valley visit. The park recently opened to the public and offers a wonderful picnic area and nature walking trails.
Napa River Adventures

Old Faithful Geyser of California
Calistoga - One of the most famous Faithful Geysers in the world, this natural extravaganza of erupting boiling hot water takes place about every 30 to 40 minutes, shooting thousands of gallons of water 60 feet into the air. Old Faithful appears as a shallow pool of water until the main attraction. With Mount St. Helena in the background, the atmosphere offers an idyllic setting for family outings and picnics.
Calistoga - This beautiful forest takes you back 3 million years as you follow the trail of majestic petrified redwood trees in a grove in the Napa Valley wine country. The Petrified Forest was created 3.5 million years ago when Mount St. Helena erupted and buried the giant trees in volcanic ash. Take a ½-mile walking tour of the spectacular upper meadow and learn about the volcanic activity and forest petrification. A 100 foot-high Ash Fall contains deposits of volcanic material.
Carolyn Parr Nature Center
Located in Napa, the Carolyn Parr Nature Center depicts animals of five local habitats and houses a children’s nature library. This nature center offers tours and interpretive programs aimed at demonstrating the impact that civilization has on the natural world.

Napa GC is an 18-hole full service championship daily fee golf course with practice facilities consisting of an 8,500 sf putting green, modest chipping green, and 22 individual stall driving range outfitted with synthetic mats. The clubhouse is equipped with full complement of merchandise from golf balls to clubs. Napa GC offers golf lessons from our PGA Class A Professionals on staff, with year round adult and youth lesson programs for players of all skill. With four sets of tees to accommodate golfers of any skill level, our golf course is also user friendly, fun, and provides affordable access to all.
Just 25 miles from the Napa Valley lies a 2.5 mile stretch of river called Putah Creek that lies below Monticello Dam. Below Lake Berryessa that provides a year-round supply of cold, clean water that Rainbow Trout need and love. I have fished most days of the year for over five years on Putah Creek and would love to teach you the art and excitement of fly-fishing.
